Connector Health Monitoring
Continuously monitor the health and connectivity of all active Nuxari connectors. Alert on authentication failures, data collection gaps, and permission changes before they impact governance workflows.
Requires a Nuxari account. Installs as Draft — no changes until you enable it.
Back to templatesWhat this template does
This automation job runs periodic health checks on every active connector in the Nuxari tenant. It verifies that each connector can authenticate successfully, that data collection is completing within expected windows, and that connector permissions have not changed since last verified. Health failures and degradations surface immediately as findings and trigger alerts to the configured notification channel. The job also tracks historical health status so you can identify patterns in connector reliability.
When to use it
Use this template as a baseline operational monitoring layer for any Nuxari deployment with two or more active connectors. It is especially important for organizations where governance workflows depend on continuous data collection — a connector that silently stops collecting data can cause missed findings, stale baselines, and gaps in evidence continuity.
How it works
Health check execution
Nuxari runs a lightweight authentication and connectivity test against each active connector on the configured schedule (default: every 15 minutes).
Collection gap detection
Each connector's last successful data collection timestamp is compared against the expected collection window. Connectors that have not collected within the window are flagged.
Permission verification
For connectors with permission scope metadata, the current permission set is compared against the last verified state. Unexpected permission changes surface as findings.
Alert delivery
Health failures and degradations trigger immediate alerts to the configured notification channel with the connector name, failure type, and recommended action.
Status history recording
Each health check result is logged with a timestamp and stored for historical analysis and evidence continuity.
What gets created in your tenant
Connector Health Check Job
A recurring job that runs authentication and connectivity checks against all active connectors.
Connector Health Findings
A findings queue populated by connector authentication failures, data gaps, and permission changes.
Connector Health Overview
A status summary widget showing current connector health across the Nuxari tenant.
What evidence it produces
- Connector health status timeline
- Authentication failure log with timestamps
- Data collection gap report
- Permission change detection log
- Alert delivery confirmation
Safety and approval model
Templates install as Draft / Disabled by default. No actions run until you explicitly enable the template after reviewing the configuration.
This template installs in Draft state but has no destructive actions — it only reads connector status and sends alerts. No connectors are modified, no access is changed, and no approvals are required. Enable it as soon as your connectors are configured. Alert delivery is the only external action — configure your preferred notification channel before enabling.
Customization options
- Health check frequency (5, 15, or 60 minutes)
- Alert notification channel (email, Slack, Teams, PagerDuty)
- Alert severity thresholds (alert on first failure vs. after N consecutive failures)
- Connector scope (monitor all connectors or a selected subset)
- Collection gap threshold (minutes before a gap is flagged)
