Audit Log

Who this is for

Admins, auditors, and security teams who need a complete record of every action taken in the Nuxari platform.

Before you start

You need an admin or auditor role to access the full audit log. Audit log entries are generated automatically, no configuration is required.

What is captured

The audit log records every meaningful action taken in the platform. This includes:

• Workflow actions, every step in an onboarding, offboarding, or access workflow
• Approval decisions, authorized or rejected, with the approver identity and timestamp
• Credential rotations, connector and app credential rotation events
• Connector changes, add, disable, archive, restore
• User management, invitations, role assignments, removals
• Finding status changes, when a finding is opened, closed, or accepted as an exception
• Evidence package creation and export events
• AI assistant queries and recommendations
• Scheduled job creation and execution outcomes

How to access the audit log

In Nuxari, go to Audit > Audit Log. You will see a time-ordered list of all events in your workspace, with the most recent at the top.

Filtering the audit log

Use the filter bar to narrow by:

• Event type, workflow, approval, credential rotation, connector change, etc.
• Actor, which user or system initiated the event
• Date range, filter to a specific time window
• Status, success, failed, or pending

Viewing event details

Click any audit log entry to expand the detail view. Each event record includes: the actor (who or what initiated the action), the target (user or resource affected), a before-and-after state summary where applicable, the control mapping (which governance controls this event supports), and the outcome status.

Exporting the audit log

To export the audit log, apply your desired filters and click Export. You can export in JSON (for automated processing) or PDF (for human reviewers). Exports are scoped to your current filter selection, you can export a full period or just a specific event type.

Why audit logs matter for compliance

When auditors ask how a decision was made, who approved an access change, when a user was offboarded, or whether a credential was rotated on time, the audit log provides the direct, timestamped answer. Paired with evidence packages and governance reports, the audit log gives you everything you need to demonstrate that your organization acted responsibly and on record.
