Who this is for
Workspace admins setting up or managing integrations between Nuxari and external systems.
Before you start
You need an admin role to add, modify, or delete connectors. For on-premises environments, an Edge Agent must be registered before the connector can reach those systems.
What connectors are
Connectors are the integrations that let Nuxari read access data, configuration state, and activity from your external systems. Each connector authenticates with one external system and pulls the data Nuxari needs to run evaluations and detect drift. Connector credentials are stored securely and are never returned to your browser or frontend.

How to add a connector
- 1In Nuxari, go to Settings > Connectors.
- 2Click Add Connector and select the system type from the list.
- 3Follow the setup guide for that connector type. Each type has specific credential requirements shown in the setup screen.
- 4Click Test Connection to confirm Nuxari can reach and authenticate with the system.
- 5Click Save. The connector appears in your connector list with a health status indicator.
Rotating credentials
To rotate the credentials for an existing connector, go to Settings > Connectors, click the connector, and select Rotate Credentials. Enter the new credential values, test the connection, and save. The rotation is recorded in the audit log.
Disabling, archiving, and restoring
- Disable, pauses data collection from the connector without deleting the configuration. Future evaluations will exclude this connector until it is re-enabled.
- Archive, marks the connector as inactive and removes it from active evaluation coverage. Historical data is retained.
- Restore, re-activates a disabled or archived connector. You may need to re-enter credentials if they expired during the inactive period.
Connector health monitoring
Each connector displays a health status: Active, Warning, Error, or Disconnected. A warning may indicate that credentials are approaching expiry. An error means the last connection attempt failed. Select the connector in Settings > Connectors to see the most recent status message and troubleshoot.
