AI Governance Assistant

Use the AI assistant to query findings, draft workflows, and explain evidence in plain language.

Last updated: June 2026

Who this is for

Admins and auditors who want to query governance data, understand findings, and draft workflow summaries using plain language.

Before you start

At least one connector and one completed evaluation should exist in your workspace for the assistant to have data to work with. The assistant only sees data within your organization's workspace.

What the AI assistant does

The AI Governance Assistant is a recommendation and explanation layer built into Nuxari. You can ask it questions in plain language about your governance data, findings, evidence, connectors, and workflows. It helps you understand what is happening in your environment without requiring you to navigate every screen or export reports manually.

How to use it

  1. 1In Nuxari, go to Governance > AI Assistant.
  2. 2Type your question in the input field. Be specific, the more context you provide, the more useful the response.
  3. 3The assistant responds with a plain-language answer backed by your governance data. Where relevant, it links to the underlying finding, evidence record, or workflow.
  4. 4If the assistant recommends an action, for example, creating a remediation plan, you can click through to initiate that workflow. The action still follows the standard approval process.

What you can ask

  • Which findings are open and high severity?
  • Summarize the access drift findings from the last 30 days.
  • Which users still have access after being marked inactive in our identity provider?
  • What evidence was generated in the last evaluation cycle?
  • Draft an approval summary for a remediation plan affecting admin access on AWS.

Tenant-scoped answers

The assistant only sees data from your organization's workspace. It cannot access data from other organizations and cannot access systems that are not connected to Nuxari. Answers are grounded in your actual governance data, not generic information.

What the assistant cannot do

  • Grant or revoke access in connected systems.
  • Bypass the approval requirement for any governance action.
  • Make final authorization decisions, that remains with your human approvers.
  • Access data from systems that are not connected to Nuxari.
  • Modify settings, workflows, or configurations.
The AI assistant is a recommendation layer. All access changes and privileged actions still require human approval through the Nuxari workflow engine. The assistant helps you understand and draft, it does not act.
